Our Purpose: To glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in every area of our life and ministry.
The Bible: Inerrant, infallible, and eternal. It is the supreme standard and authority by which everything (including our faith and lifestyle) is to be judged.
God: Eternal, sovereign, all knowing, all powerful and ever present. He is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
Jesus Christ: God the Son, who was virgin born, sinless, who died for our sins, arose bodily and will return visibly.
Salvation: By grace alone through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and salvation is a permanent work of God.
The Church: A local, autonomous body of believers who are in doctrinal harmony to obey Christ, teach the Bible, share the gospel with the unsaved, encourage one another and help believers mature in the Lord.
Ordinances: Baptism of believers by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of the Lord’s death for us. Both are local church ordinances to be observed by the members of a local church.
Eternity: Heaven (for the saved) and hell (for the unsaved) are literal places and are both permanent and eternal.
The Great Commission: The gospel is to be preached to everyone. Every believer is responsible to witness, and to support missions. It is the work of the Holy Spirit through the presentation of the gospel that will draw the elect to faith in Christ.
Expectation of members: To live holy, dedicated lives and use their spiritual gifts in ministry, being faithful to the regular and special meetings of the church. When open sin occurs, the process in Matthew 18 will be used to bring about restoration.
